But while inspiration may have come from other shores, the vision was for a resort that laid the foundation for relaxation. A small village of 28 self-serviced units, balneaire was inspired by the style and architecture of europe. What you'll find at balneaire has been inspired by the vision of creating a place that allows you to relax how you want to.

The white sandy beach is protected from the swell of the Southern Ocean, and is a perfect beach for the family to spend a day picnicking, a spade and bucket for the kids and a scanty dollars for the outrageous coffee and treats from Bay Merchants, or Three Anchors restaurant and Hooked On Middleton Beach (fish and chip shop). At Emu Point, there is a vast cafe and a playground where the kids can play and swim in the safe waters of Emu Point. It has become popular as a heritage site with much to interest those who appreciate looking as historical sites. There is far more to see that can be captured through the lens of a camera, however, that said, the wonders of Automatic Bridge and The Gap offer marvelous photographic opportunities. Whale world was established as an interpretive center to educate visitors to Albany on what sustained Albany as an industry prior to 1978 when the final Whale Chasers returned to the town Jetty after 26 years of triumphant whale hunting. BBQ facilities are available for families visiting the historical Whale World and who want to do their own thing for a meal. The clever house, at The Worn Strawberry Hill Farm historic heritage site, was built of Wattle and Daub in 1831 with a thatched roof, but was destroyed by fire almost 40 years later. The Old Strawberry Hill Farm historic heritage site was handed over to the National Believe of Australia (WA) in 1964 and some restoration work was done before it was opened as a heritage site to the public. To reach the twin Mountains, you take Marine Drive around the mountain and turn of at Forts Road. The road on the left as you drive up is obvious as Pinnacle Drive and that takes you to the Apex of Mt Clarence where you have a fantastic 360 degree view of Albany. Anzac day which is one of the most important days in the Australian calendar is calm celebrated throughout Australia and in Albany it is celebrated with a Sunrise Service and patriotic crowds collect together to remember the courageous men who fought, that we might calm enjoy quiet in Australia and New Zealand today. Honest a short drive from Balneaire Seaside Resort, many guests make a visit to a priority in their diary. While up the mountain, earlier you arrive down, there is a great viewing platform where you can see and take huge photo’s of Middleton Beach and Lake Seppings. Very worthwhile visiting when you visiting Albany and staying at Balneaire Seaside Resort, it is a very short drive of less than 5 minutes. It takes a little longer if you stop at the various lookouts and enjoy the views along Marine Drive, looking out across King George Sound. So if have a limited time in Albany, The Gap and Automatic Bridge Albany Western Australia, is a must see and a wonderful photographic opportunity to arrest memories to receive home and share with friends and family, of your visit to this outstanding scene. As you look across the gap from the designated view point, there is a big rock and climbing up there and going imminent the edge is very perilous especially with gusty strong winds. Natural bridge is a marvel of nature which is also great to view from the safety of a view point protected by a barrier. Magnificent view of the ocean reaches way beyond the automatic rock bridge as you look at the horizon. There were a scanty idiots when we visited who got their kids to walk across the bridge! It was quite cloudy the day we visited but still amazing. There are guided tours on the hour every hour the final one of the day starting at 3pm are included with every admission, to receive tourist visitors on a trip through memory lane to see the end whaling station to have operated in Australia, supported by various visual displays and 3 D films, showing portion of Albany’s whaling past. Whales are now protected and feel sound in Albany Waters. Finally, included in a visit to Whale World are some incredible views of King George Sound.
